Does anyone know of some place that can alter my hood to allow more air to pass through? I wanted to see if there is another option other then blowing $500+ paint and installs on a new hood? Or is it best just to get a new one and not have someone hack at mine?
--thanks

u mean like cut it and make it for example a SVO looking hood with a scoop for air to go thru it?..if thats what u mean i guess you can i have seen people do it.and have pics of some stuff like that.1 guy did it to the front of his bumper cut to ovals into it and put rubber triming around it .but if you make the cuts clean you wouldnt have to put trim..is this what u are saying?

so you want to add louvers on it? i dont think you can add those into the hood, you have to cut the hood and add the louvered set on like in the links.

you could just get the 03 cobra/saleen style heat extractor hood

Buying a new hood is easier. Just put hood pins if it is fiberglass.

I would love the vented hoods on the 03/04 cobra.. but I dont think they will fit the 05's.. I would swap it in an instant.. Anyone know for sure? Even the new hoods look a little off.. the RK sports look nice.. but a little $$
