What are your plans? Is it going to be a drag-only car? If so, it would be a bad idea. I own a 01' Cobra. IRS = wheelhop. Over at SVTP.com, a lot of high-horsepowered Cobras swap over to a solid axle.

I know a friend of mine who would trade you his IRS setup out of an 04 cobra for your solid axle out of your Fox
