Why? You won't be allowed anywhere near a smog station!
Just take the upper and lower intake off, and all the stuff attached to them, get a edelbrock intake, with whatever carb you want and put it on, I dunno about the fuel lines though.
But seriously why would you want that? EFI is easier to tune, more efficent and most importantly REQUIRED by CARB for that car, if you want a carbe'd V8 in a tiny car get a Maverick Grabber 302

EFI, is way better for everyday driving and street use. I have both. I hate the carb. Don't be skurred of EFI./

Carbs make more power, simpler, cheaper, easier to tune. Anyone who says they don't work well for street driving do NOT know how to tune a carb.
With that said though, converting a '91 to carb would be a lot of work with little gain.

i have a 91 and did the swap for about a month . it is faster with the f i but if you want to do this pull off the uper and lower leave the distrbutor pluged in and slap an intake and carb on it keep in mind you need to lower the fuel psi down to 8 psi with a regulator and the fuel return line back to the tank you also need to change the cable for the gas peddle get one from a 84 mustang .

I am guessing the throttle linkage is going to be a real PITA.

I have 15 plus years with them and had a carb on my blower car, all self tuned. But most people these day have NO concept of how to cold start a carb. Also the fuel economy, ability to adjust itself to temperature changes and altitude changes of EFI is unmatched. I agree carbs are fun if you like to fiddle and have an NA car, but most people don't have the patience for it. Maybe for a full race piece I would go carb if I was cheap or low on cash.
A CARB can never match the fuel distribution of EFI in a blown application or anything extremely high HP. Cyl 5 and others furthest from the carb just run leaner.
CARBs seem faster since most people don't know how to tune their efi either.
