just out of curiosity...i was drivin next to a fox today and as it rolled on the throttle it had a whistle noise...not a vortech noise but an air sucking...some shit. could it have been a TB spacer? Do they do anything for performance...?

I've heard that same sound from a cone filter being mounted in the engine compartment.
Could have also been a V2 or Powerdyne. Those are both pretty quite blowers.

he had a tfs intake with a bbk tb and egr with a heat spacer, jose's (sic5pointslow) car whistles pretty loud and my intake does whistle but not really loud becuase i dont have a spacer

from my experience, most aftermarket 5.0 intakes wistle...
