ok so i changed the bypass valve and no change in idle, huge difference in performance though. cars builds boost quicker and more of it. but the idle is still high as hell. what to look at now i plan in back probing the TPS if nothing there then i have no clue. i un-plugged the idle air regulator before and that didn't do anything either. so what now????

haha, i was planning on it. but its more like a vacuume leak. because if i pull the bypass valve hose out of the power pipe the idle drops. but it would have to be a BIG vacuume leak, and i already checked the vacuume lines and everything looked good.

Did you check your TPS voltage? What were your previous problems before replacing this valve?

You could take the TPS off and throw it away and it wouldnt cause a high idle.Gotta be some kind of vacuum leak.

You may want to state your origional problems again in this thread. Also, you might want ot post your setup.
Sounds like your idle is too high Have you tried adjusting the idle screw?
