it really depends on how in depth you wanna go into tuning it yourself and what the shops you would possibly go into for a tune use? obviously sct offers the ability to upgrade to the racer package or something like that and a lot of tuners on the board swear by sct.

If it's for your 97, you'll have to go with a SCT as the Diablo Sport Predator only supports 98-06. We tried a Predator on a 96 and a 97 with no luck. Just remember, when you order it, you'll need the computer code so the programmer can be set up.

We use both and prefer SCT. SCT has more options than Diablo. Another reason we use SCT more is their support is alot better than Diablos..
