Hey guys I'm new to the forum and just started reading through some of the posts. I have a quick question. Does Apex use both SCT and Diablo tuning software?

I have an 04 Mach 1 with just a couple of simple mods mods, but I'm going to add a Mac Prochamber and possibly a cat back system. I know the Mach's A/F ratio can go really lean when adding more than just a CAI so I'll need a tune. I did e-mail Nick at New Tech in Hayward, and he charges $375 for dyno and custom tune....does that sound about right?

Thanks man, It's also nice to see other Mach owners. I see one every now and again where I live, but it's it's nice to be able to talk with other Mach owners cause I'm still learning about the car. This is my 4th stang so I'm not new to mustangs, but I've never owned a 4 valve! Now I just want to make it faster! ha ha

The best way to reach Apex or any one of the many vendors on CAFords is to call them directly or PM them. You'll likely get a much faster response this way.

hi mach owner....welcome....i wish i can own a fur valve...soon hopefully when i get my 03/04 cobra...which will come after i add a blower to my GT...then i';; bring home a black coupe 03 cobra...but until then...i'm just a 2v just like the rest of us...lol....but a stang is a stang...so thats the real american pride right there...

We use both SCT & Diablo software for tuning but recommend and prefer SCT. We have tuned several Machs this year all with pretty good results. Chris, who works for me, has a Mach which was tuned by us so you can drop by anyone time and talk to him.

On another note, have you heard anything at all on the Granatelli Performance Coil Pack? They are on another forum promising 100% money back if the buyer isnt satisfied... To me it just seems weird that nobody has seen an actual dyno sheet yet.

Don't waste your money. JMO. Yah know? With no blower or N20, you've got no reason to switch any of that stuff out. Unless you're just looking to blow some cash. In which case, I'd still hold off & put it towards a blower.

I wasnt planning on getting it, I was just curious to see if perhaps someone at the shop had ran this.
And, I'm saving for a blower

I just don't see the point. It happens SO often! People come in and say 'I wanna have these installed'... So I ask 'Why?' and I get the answer that kills me... 'I dunno, I saw it in a magazine' or 'my buddy knows a guy who said it was great'... I mean, if you really want something, I'll take your money, but I'd rather get you something that's going to make a difference. :shrug: Maybe it's just me.
