i wanted to see what u guys think is faster.

theres a 99 gt with a vortech supercharger v1-sq with 9pounds of boost,shory headers off/road x pipe and 3:73.

competition:
89 gt 5.0 306, afr 185 heads,trick flow street heat upper and lower,long tube headers,trick flow stage 2 cam,3:73 gears
what do u think would be faster????????

the 99GT (like JohnB said) will OWN the 89GT..hands down..

on take off it will be close..but top end...the 99GT will pull on him so hard..

I would say the 99gt because of moe power but who knows depends alot on the drivers and traction. Arent the 5.0's lighter by like a few 100 pounds.

Depends on the driver, tuneing etc....... But I will say this, I've seen 1FAST89GT beat a whole sh!t load of blown cars.

Just my 2 cents.

Faster in what type of race? street, or drag? What kind of tires do each car run? Are both car's stick's? What gear's are they running? I have seen car's at the drag strip with a good launch and better gear's take out car's that had alot more power. It sound's like the 5.0 should be making around 310-320 rwhp and the gt should be at about 370-380 but weigh's a little more so I think We need a little more info to give an educated guess? [burnout]

Try 12.0 flat, maybe 11.99.

the 99 will win hands down, we are talking about a power adder that will make more power in high rpms.
