If it's in decent shape, it's worth it. I paid $1500 for mine 10 years ago and it was beat.

I'd rather have a Fastback but my dad seems interested in getting any project Mustang.
I am going to call tomorrow and see what condition it is in but i think i might wait for a fastback project car to go up for sale.

Yeah, mine was a fastback. I wish I still had it.

i thought A code was 302 engine in 67/68? [Confused]

No. A-code cars were originally equipped with 289 2bbl motors only. Offered from 1965 to 1968. Also, no Shelbys were ever C-codes.

No, A code was 289 4 bbl. Of course no Shelbys were C code because Shelby bought K code cars to homologate the solid lifter engine.

"a" codes were the 225 hp version...you needed an "a" or "k" to be able to order GT options

thats a really good deal

An "A" code engine also came with 4v heads, which had slightly bigger ports than the 2v heads. These heads were also on the "K" or "GT" motors, however the "K" motors had 4 bolt mains, whereas the "A" code engines had stock 2 bolt mains.
