First off remember you have 3.27s. Second off remember that the f cam has a higher powerband than a stock cam. Lastly, it might be rich...

Similar problem here. I have H/C/I, 3.27 gears. I think the bog should get worked out when i get the gears on, probably 3.73. I have a big cam like yours...crane 2030.

I have 4.10s in my h/c/i 5 speed coupe and i love them. The only thing is that when i spray i need a taller gear (or tire). You can cruise on the freeway at~ 85mph and be near 3000 rpm...

i had them on my lx and they are great. oh man talk about some serious pull [burnout] . hey ajblackgt what size shot are you spraying? when i had my lx i was using a 175 shot with my timing at 6 degrees and it pulled like crazy. i was running 26x10.5 et streets at the track and they worked great. i tried 8 degrees but my gears would go to fast so i stuck with the 6 degrees.
