Ok well here is the problem, the traction control in my 2000 mustang GT is inop. I want to know if anyone can help me fix this. Or even tell me how i might troubleshoot it down to something. When the car is first turned on the "off" light on the button lights up. I have checked the plug-in and its all the way in. Ummm thats really all the details i have, so if anyone can please help me out it would be great. [patriot]

Ok, so what is it doing now?

Well when i jumpered it i heard a little pop, well i thought no biggie it was just a fuse. Well i start the car and the gauge cluster doesnt work at all, well about 5 seconds later they come on, then go right back off. Then about 2 seconds later they come on and stay on. It does that now everytime the car is turned on. I looked and did find a blown 15amp fuse, but since my owner manual was stolen, im not sure what is goes too. Im gonna go and get a replacement for it shortly.

Go get a fuse pack assortment. Pull EVERY fuse and visually check it. [Wink]

mine would not go off either on my old 2k gt so I got a whole new traction control switch component from ford for pretty cheap. The light would stay on butthe TC would not turn off. Try unplugging the whole thing and putting in a new one. [patriot]
