Sound bytes usually suck. They sound better in person. I know I like mine.

I have spintech side exhaust on a 91 with flowtech shorties and a stock h-pipe. I think it sounds good. Different than most you hear out there.

I have sportsman streets with an offroad X pipe and everybody says they sound weird/crazy, very raspy like a Nascar

I have them on my 98 cobra with an offroad X-pipe for my track set-up. They are extremely loud, nascar loud. Upside - allows you to really hear your engine, downside - allows the cops to hear as well. Just took the car to thunderhill, had to back off on the pedal cause chp was lookin closely. BTW Dyno numbers vs. my flowmasters w/ x-pipe and high flow cats - only 9 hp diff. on a car pullin 580 to the rear. I like them a lot but for street use you may want stick with something else. For track #1.

I have Spintech side exits on my 90 GT. They are damn loud. And right next to my ears. They also have an ear killing drone at 800rpm and 2300rpm, so those are good rpms to avoid on the street.

I regret getting them, but they're on there now. I'll get used to them. At least having side exits has a high cool factor.
