anyone know of any shops in the east or south bay that would probably be willing to install an o/r x-pipe on for me? i would do it myself, but i'm pretty tight on time and am going away for school in about two weeks. i'm asking this because i'm well aware of the laws against changing out midpipes and i'll prolly swap the stock h in before i smog.

a lot of shops won't to off road pipes any more cause there are getting really strick on smog, just try to see if anyone on this site can do it for u on the side, plus u will save more money that way.

I don't think any shop would touch that. I mean just replacing a catalytic converter is bad enough, but to have an off-road pipe installed? No way...just too much pressure from the feds for that...plus there are big fines that most shops cannot afford to pay...which would put them out of business...

If you can just pony up the money for a high flow cat there is only a small difference if any in going off road compared to high flow, especially if you are goin to have to pay labor costs. BTW I payed about $500 for my high flows and just passed smog like a champ superchared with 42s. good luck.
