OK my car passed the rollers but the tech failed my car because of an Aeromotive regulator. [Mad] I don't want to go through the hassle of removing the upper Performer intake to just swap a stock regulator. It is test only and what puzzles me is why he didn't trip over the BBK long tubes or the aftermarket valve covers but he did trip over the regulator. Should I take it to another test only where they'll be less strict on the visual? Not that it will be easy finding one. Also for everyone's information: My car passed with a 224/224@.050, .560/.557" and 111LSA cam. I thought it wouldn't even come close but it passed with flying colors. Other mods are AFR 185's, porter Performer, BBK longtubes, and 03 Cobra MAF sensor.

i'm surprised he let you pass with the l/t's. i really doubt another place would let that go, so swapping the regulator is a lot easier than the headers. or you could have told him that it was stock and you just painted it, but i dont know if you can pull that since he already knows

I would try taking it to another place. Every place I have taken my car to looks at things different. I wouldn't doubt if the next one doesn't say anything about the regulator but calls you on having long tubes [Frown]
