When I still had my 86 GT. It ran 13.8 @ 105mph. Mods were LT headers, o/r H pipe, MAC catback, CAI, 70mm TB, stock size MAF, underdrive pulleys, and 3.73s on a BFG Radial T/A.

I went from 3.27's in my old 94 to 3.73's... sure the gas milage suffered a little (couldnt keep my foot out of it) but when I didnt beat on it, the milage was fine. its a good jump

i put some 3.73s and got 3000rpms at 90mph (87mph)ish maybe. on some 17inch rims 245-45-17 not too bad. i would put gears. i had the same problem running 14.002 @ 102.5 i know that speed should be better. id try tires and gears.

Damn...you are trying to run a 14.20 with all that? My silver (very pimpy then...RIP) '91 GT with a set of 3.73s, cold air intake, under drives, and HANDLING suspension, ran a 14.20 at 99 mph.

you should pick up a lot more than 1/10th with a 3 mph gain, also put some slicks or DRs on that thing, I picked up 3/10ths with slicks.

If you don't want to go with 373's then consider 355's. I drive mine on the freeway all day long with 355's. It will run at 2500 RPM @ 75MPH. This is totally streetable and much better than 327's
