As far as engine kits you can check; Summit, D.S.S., Coast High Performance, or Houston Performance.
There are probably a bunch of good shops in the bay to have your motor gone through. Depends on what you want done and your budget.

Schlitz Machine Shop on 21st and E14th in Oakland, it's a gray building with just a black rollup door but they build a lot of race engines and our shop always takes stuff there to be machined.

robs machine shop also can do a complete rebuild for you also. i believe thats in haywayd. good prices good work
