Cooling fan motor is burnt out, [Mad] fan doesnt kick on, so in stop and go traffic it likes to get hot and nearly overheat until i can get over 40-50mph. For parts and labor at a shop it will cost me 390 bucks [Eek!] Does anyone know where i can get a good deal or pick up a cooling fan unit for my 98 GT, something that will plug right into the stock plug (if its aftermarket) or find a stock fan unit? I think i can put this thing in myself if i can get the part. Thanks for any info!

Post up in the for sale section. You can also try a Ford wrecking yard or stangparts.com

Almost any wrecking yard should have a used fan for a '98 GT.
