At idle I noticed that one of my injectors makes an intermittent hissing noise. I can't remember if that was normal. I am just trying to start to drive this thing again. [burnout]

That doesn't sound normal...Is your car idling ok, is there any other drivability problems?....

Do a search on the web for "injector balance test" and that should help you....And obviously make sure it's not leaking....

Good luck!...

sounds like a bad O-ring on the injector.

That's what I would do. Also, coat the o-rings with a light coat of oil to help them seat. You can get the o-ring kits @ Pep boys. They come with the upper and lower o-ring as well as a new cap.

Well, it is not leaking yet. It idles fine and passed smog this morning. I am just gonna run it til' it gives me another sign. Fortunately, they are just the stock 19lb'ers and it is the #1 cyl. injector in plain view. [burnout] [burnout] [burnout]
