I got a 04 Mustang gt Automatic 4speed with O/D. I commut to work every night, How ever far Vacaville to cordelia is but the only thing stopping me from getting gears is gas mileage. So does any one know if i went to 4.10 gears what rpm i might be at goin 65 on the freeway. [Confused] O yeah i have stock rimes and tires

but on that 5 gear doesnt it drop your dramitcly..i only got 4 and i am already at 2000rpms goin 70 wouldnt it raise my rmps a lot and isnt it better to maintain a low rmp not to waist gas?

higher rpms doesnt always mean worse gas mileage. mileage is from the load on the engine or how much fuel is being used. bogging the car down will waste more gas than cruising at 4k

bogging the car down? I thought you where using more fuel when at higher rpm

I turn 3000rpms or just under at 80mph. You will love 4.10s
