Hey guys,
It seems this is not my week...Well this morning when i try to start the stang to go to work i wouldnt turn over...battery is good..But what I notice is the my theft light is blinking rapidly and my mileage shows -------- and no numbers....Check out my inlaws stang....stuck key in and theft left turns off and mileage shows up.. What are your thoughts and has anyone have this problem?
Not sure if this needs to be in Tech..if so please move.

Disconnect the battery and open the driver's side door (to ensure all power from the car is drained). Leave it disconnected for 20 mins, then reconnect and immediately restart. This should bypass the PATS. More than likely, your key-fob (if you have one) has a weak battery and it tripped it. It's happened to me. [Frown]

Is there any mechanics in Sac that knows how to fix it? I would hate to pay for tow and go to dealer...So if anyone knows how to fix it, I'd rather pay u guys that FORD...Give me a call (916) 216-1986

Get an ohm meter and check your stater cylanoid sp?. Just had a similar problem and fixed it in 10 minutes for 20 bucks.
