it depends on the width of the wheel to determine offset.

I wanna try those '05 Bullitts or '05 GT Premium wheels on my coupe with the SVO conversion. The '05 Bullitts are 17x8 w/a 45mm offset.

So that means that to put 05 bullits on a fox, the inside of the wheel will be 5.79" + 4.5cm (whatever the conversion is) farther from the mounting surface of a previous year bullit wheel.
Hmm so that means it'll tuck more... I got an idea, I wonder if it's a dumb one since I hit that perpelli... I'll save it for later

That's exactly right except you added 4.5cm instead of just adding 1/2 of that. The 94-04 17x8's already have 24mm offset. The 05 rims have a 45mm offset which means 21mm more offset than the old rims. This come sout to roughly 0.84inches more backspacing. Your new BS is 5.72 + 0.84 = 6.56in
This will look all wrong. Your wheels will tuck into the center of the car by close to an 0.84" over the 94-04 wheels. You could use a 3/4" inch spacer if your studs are long enough...
Good luck

That's about what I need for a perfect fit in the back. But now the question is would a set of old bullits in front be destinguishablely different paired up with a set of the 05 bullits in the back?
