Well, really the only way to upgrade your calipers that is going to be worth the time and money would be Bullitt or Cobra calipers (PBR). They are the same as the C4 Gran Sport Corvette calipers too. Then install some Hawk HPS pads.
The only problem with going to Bullitt/Cobra calipers is you will have to upgrade to 13" rotors and add the caliper bracket. The difference in stopping power will be well worth it though. No fade, great modulation and stop on a dime.
Otherwise if you want to stay with the stock calipers and rotor size just mount the PowerSlot rotors, get some stainless braided brake lines and install the Hawk HPS pads. Flush your brake fluid with Ford High Performance fluid and you'll see a bit of an improvement.
Sean.

For the pads you can get them from Maximum Motorsports. They are $70 for the GT front pads or $90 for the Cobra front pads.
For the calipers and brackets you could get them from www.discbrakesrus.com. They have the kit for $399 without rotors or $599 with the rotors. I would just get the $399 kit from them and then order the Hawk pads and Brembo plain Cobra rotors from Max Motorsports ($99 each). The Brembo plain rotors are original Ford equipment and will allow you to turn them when it comes time for a brake job. And you'll probably need one soon cause it's so damn fun to haul ass towards an on-ramp, jam on the brakes then dive in to the turn!

Hawk HPS for street use

I use Porterfield R4S pads. They're easy on the rotors. Dust is minimal on street, however they do produce plenty of dust on the track which is normal.

Has anyone tried the EBC Green pads for the street?

My hawk HPS plus pads work GREAT!
but they squeel like a pig on the street, kind of embarassing pulling up to a light/stop sign.
the stopping power difference I think was negliable to the red pads I had on the front before
