whats the budget? If you put tires like JohnB said you would be in the 12's

Did he get a tune at all or did he just throw the pulley on there. When you install a bigger pulley you have to install some sort of tune. Its also reccomended that he change his plugs and fuel filter at the same time.If he gets a good tune then there shouldnt be a problem with having the 6lb pulley, there are guys on svtperformance that have been runnin those pulleys for a while now with no problems.

How did he blow his motor with a 6lb lower??? I have been running a 6lb lower for almost a year. Unless he had a really shitty tune, or no tune at all, i cannot see how he blew the motor...

But for mods, tell him to get his blower ported as the first step. It cannot be detected by the dealership, and it really makes the blowr more efficient. Go to this website for the porting http://www.stiegemeier.com/index1.html
Get the normal CAI and run a 4lb lower pulley. This will give him the same amount of hp as the 6lber would because the porting gives an extra 2lbs of boost. Check either http://www.rpmoutlet.com/frame.htm or http://www.teamjdm.com/

The next step is a tune, buy a predator tuner and have a custom tune e-mailed to you by either http://www.powersurgeperformance.net/ or http://runninwiththedevil.com/

With a good tune and some traction (either tires or bars, or both) you will be in the 12's no doubt!!!

FOr any questions or more info, check out NlOC.Net or even better SVTPerformance.com

Feel free to pm me aswell!

Ohh yeah, you should check out plugs too, some NGK TR6's are good. And dyno tunes are also a good way to check hp/tq and a/f!
But with that setup, and a good a/f ratio, you should be atleast 400rwhp/500rwtq and a safe daily driver!
