its generally split pretty close between the tri ax and the pro 5.0. i like my pro 5.0 though

yeah, i used to have a pro5.0 in a previous notch, but i think i'm leaning towards the steeda tri-ax

the pro five point zero

pro 5.0 is good. I had a Hurst and it wasn't bad either.

I like my Tri-Ax, it has a nice solid feel to it, and it clicks into place nicely. It does have a slight triangle shift pattern but it doesn't mess you up. I can still bang 2nd hard enough to spin my drag radials but if you want the straight pattern shifter maybe get the pro 5.0? Either way good choice

Steeda Tri-ax...
or a Pro 5.0 with a Tri-ax handle.

I like the pro 5.0 the best from what i've had, but i've never had a triax either.

Pro 5.0 over here. I had 2 Hursts & currently a B&M. The new MGW one looks pretty interesting & solid except for I didn't see any "locking nut" on the stops

i have a pro 5.0 i like it but ive also driven a stang with the MGW and im a little jelouse i think the mgw is a little shorter and closer to your leg

B&M is what I have and its flawless

I've had...
Hurst in my stock '85
B&M in my old '90
Pro 50 in my '85 w/Tremec
Tri ax in my '01 --> didn't like it and switched to Pro 50
Pro 50 is my favorite out of all of them

I love the Pro5.0's...
I love the hursts too, but I keep breaking the knobs off of the shifter....not sure if that is a design defect or if I am shifting too fast/hard????

If you buy a Pro 5.0, Steeda Tri-Ax & MAC Racers Choice and we'll throw in a FREE billet shift knob if we do the installation! . The knob you'll get, is just like the Bullitt/Mach 1 style, with either 5 or 6 speed pattern etched in. Give me a call or PM.

seriously. I had to pull the console in my 84 to do it, but still only took like 10 min. Do it yourself and save the $$$

basically i would be getting it installed for $25 cuz they give you a free shift knob that's valued at like 50 or something? buying from them, taking the car there, having it installed there..

the stock shiftknob is the best looking knob you can have in a foxbody IMO, dont waste money on a different look.
