off the bottle 650rwhp

Now the question will the injectors be big enough to support it.

I would really prefer 83lb injectors.

With a wet system, it'll be ok. [Wink] 60's are enough.

Posted by Cm4hawks (Member # 5231) on :

only 650 that sucks well need some upgrades

Posted by 66 AC COBRA (Member # 904) on :

at 19#'s its gonna make more than 650rwhp, sounds like the blower is gonna be spinning very hard to make 19#'s on that motor

Posted by Cm4hawks (Member # 5231) on :

why is that?

Posted by 66 AC COBRA (Member # 904) on :

and thats witout nitrous

Posted by 66 AC COBRA (Member # 904) on :

because the blower is rated at 800 and some change, with that good of a flowing motor, the supercharger is going to have to spin very fast to make that much boost

remember, boost is just a measure of intake restriction, and you wont have much [Big Grin]

no, that means you just need a bigger blower if you want more power

what would happen is you would be making 650rwhp but at something like 14 psi

dare i be the one to say the forbidden word *TURBO* [Big Grin]

even with the t trim and nitrous, making 800+hp, what do you have for a chassis, and still a 5 speed

Posted by Cm4hawks (Member # 5231) on :

yeah i am being a idiot i am putting it in my saleen LOL no cage and still keeping a/c and a tremec 600

Posted by Cm4hawks (Member # 5231) on :

88 saleen at that

Posted by 66 AC COBRA (Member # 904) on :

[Big Grin] great

so its gonna be a ton of unusable power

but what ever you wanna do [Big Grin]

i say keep the t trim, pulley it so it doesnt overspin, make what ever power you can with it, then hit is with the juice

your going to get aquanted real quick with your local racegas dealer

Posted by Cm4hawks (Member # 5231) on :

Yeah i know i need to work on a traction problem LOL

Posted by Fostang (Member # 3752) on :

650 rwhp.

Eric doesn't know anything. [Razz]

What for man? Do you have a death wish. [Big Grin]

But seriously it should make close to your wish with about 24 psi

at least 72lb injectors

what type of transmission are you thinking of putting behind it?

what about rear end?

Posted by Cm4hawks (Member # 5231) on :

tremec tko 600 not sure about the rearend thnking about blown67 9"

Posted by Fostang (Member # 3752) on :

3.25-3.50 gears. [Wink] His rear already would have 33 spline and bolt in axles. Plus the strength.

your smokin crack man, that combo with 24psi would pull over 900rwhp through a stick

Show me. [Razz]

Especially when the effeciency of the blower is pegged.

Posted by 92stangLX (Member # 3252) on :

If you are looking for big power why not go for more cubes? Have you thought about stepping up to a 393 or 408?

Posted by Cm4hawks (Member # 5231) on :

i already have the r-302 ketigh craft 347 stroker so i will use it i am going to start looking into twin turbo setups and selling my t-trim

thats my point, with that blowr you wont hit 24psi on that motor, so with 24psi from something like a YSi, it would make some great power

but since turbos have been brought up, a nic 76 would get the job done

i am going to look at the cartech kits i know there is one with t44 that will do 1000 hp

umm no, a t44 wount make 1000hp, the kit is just based on a t4 flanged turbo, so you can upgrade to a alrger turbo that can support 1000hp

cartech isnt great anyway

if u want THE best kit out there, TTI (turbo tecnologies inc) is the place to go, they consistently produce one of the highest quality kis around

before you decide on any turbo kit or turbo etc, you need to get on www.turbomustangs.com and look through their knowledge base, the forums, archives, and please do search before posting a question

i was reading cartechs site they said that thier twin t44 turbos will make 850 to 1000 hp that was just what i read i do not know much about turbos i had a twin turbo coupe but i had a guy who did all the tuning on it in Houston Texas Joe Rivera he used to tune mine charles pogue "chipper" and Mike Murillo from Texas jam before he started texas jam

Posted by Fostang (Member # 3752) on :

Just get the same set up that Mike is using. [Smile]

He's using a 76 PTK setup on his white gt and that thing totally rips. On top of it he's giving it a little bit of nitrous.

He was in Sac not too long ago doing some tunning.

ok yeah twin t44's might support 1000hp, butthat is stretchin it a bit

cartech also has a single turbo kit with a t44, that is what i was thinking of

prot turbo makes some decent kits, but tti is still better, they have stuff ready in a few weeks, not months like ptk

I would suggest talking with JeffS. He has a high horsepower single turbo foxbody. I'm sure he would be willing to help you out with your combo [patriot]
