How many hp can the stock injectors reliably supply fuel for? Can overworking them for an extended period of time be a problem? [burnout] [burnout] [burnout]

280 to 290 at the wheels with a t-5. i made 274 and the a/f was actually a little rich so it can support more.

Depends on if your motor is NA or has a power adder. You will typically require more injector on a super/turbo charged application.

Check out this site:

http://www.slowgt.com/Calc1.htm#FInjHP

It will calculate how much HP your injector will support.

You should be ok with 19's if you have minor bolt on's and stock heads/cam and no power adder. However, if you change the heads and cam, stroke your motor, and/or add a blower/turbo I would step up.
