Bought the car in Novemeber with 3000 miles. Car has 5000 now. Turned the A/C on for the 1st time and the bitch blows nothin but hot air [Mad] I have checked all the fuses and everything looks good. It is still under warranty of course but I am trying to save a trip to the dealer. Any ideas? I have tried both A/C and Max A/C on the highest setting for several minutes at freeway speeds? May as well run the heater.

Had this problem with my 98 Cobra with the A/C blowing when it wanted to.`

The only reason is Pain in the Arse. Have to drive out of the way to the dealer and hope for a loaner car as stated in the SVT owners book. Hard to get the car to the dealer while working. Guess I could do it on a Monday, just don't want them keeping the car. Hate going to the dealer too.

I feel ya but i wouldn't be able to tolerate the heat out in Oakley [Eek!]

And just remeber that they will only give yo uthe rental AFTER they have gone through and deemed it covered by warranty [Roll Eyes]

Hope it's fixed quickly....it's getting hotter and hotter out.

Most dealers (including mine) are open on Saturday, some dealers are even open on Sunday. Not that much of a pain when you can bring it in 7 days a week.

Yeah I broke down and dropped it off this morning on the way into work.

Trix, I hear you on the heat. I drove home yesterday from work and by the time I got home and out of the car it felt like I had stepped out of a steam room.

Good thing this is just a weekend car.Now if I could just get the 65 running.......

Good to hear Sharky!

I'm sure they'll have it fixed in no time...and hopefully the weather has cooled down a bit out where you are because it is a lot more overcast here in Fremont this morning [Smile]

Here's the breakdown:
-Steg II port
-2.76
-Accufab Tb/plenum
-Steeda CAI
-Bassani off road X
-Dynomax 3" CB
-Diablosport Predator
-Diablosport Maf.ia (maf xtender)

The #'s in the sig are prior to installing the off-road X, Maf.ia, and the updated tune to lean things out a bit...trying to get closer to 11.8-12.0 A/F throughout the rpm's.

Hope to see #'s closer to 500rwhp and about the same TQ.

Oh I just got my car back by the way. Can you say Fridgid?

O-rings were bad and it leaked out all the coolant. Replaced and recharged. [Big Grin]

I knew it would be a quick fix!

Good to hear.

The tune was done via mail-order from RWTD (runninwiththedevil) by a guy named James.

Depending on what system you decide to go with as far as tuning there are local guys here that can do the job w/o having to hav ethe wait time for "new tunes".

Nick @ Newtech uses Diablosport

Jeff S uses SCT

...but they may even be able to go back and forth between hand helds and i'm sure they are familiar with other systems as well

Back when i got my stuff done i wasn't too familiar with any of those guys but heard lots of praise about James and thought i'd give it a try and now that i have all diablosport products i thought i'd stick with him and so far so good....car runs strong but i need to get it to the track ASAP [burnout]

Thats cool. Maybe I will look at Jeff S when the time comes. Hearing a lot of crap about James at RWTD with him being hard to reach these days. We will see. Go hit the track
