I changed my headers from bbk unequal shorties and o\r h to bbk 1 3\4 lt w/ o\r x. now my car feels alot slower. Could this happen or is the problem somewhere else?

You will lose low end by going to long tubes from my experience, does it feel faster up high or slower than before? If it really does feel slower, I would bet there is a problem.

sounds like you left something unplugged. lt's are supposed to give you more power all through the powerband

whats the rest of your setup???
on a mild 302 going to the LT's you would loose low end power

You may want to swap out that cam to something like a custom or xe274hr...

Any recommendatins on a custom cam?

yes you would lose power at higher rpm's because there is more air flow so there is less back pressure. so it should feel like it has more power off the line than at higher rpm's.
