the valve covers on my car are throwing oil from the where the breathers are located. could it be that i need taller valve covers?? need help...

What's your setup? Are you running a blower?

what is probably happening is your rockers are slinging oil into the breather, do you have baffles inside the valve cover, or can you see the rockers if you take the breather out?

I had the same problem with a high volume oil pump. When it was throwing oil out i had the tallest valve covers i could find, but they had no baffles. Make shure you have baffles on the valve covers.

You can make a baffle out of sheet metal, or maybe you can buy them...search on summit or contact the company that made your valve covers and see if they sell baffles for their valve covers [patriot]
