I have the stock rear drums on my car and any time i apply pressure to the brakes and then let off they make a cracking, erking, not very good sound. Im pretty damm sure its comming from the rear brakes any thought to what it might be?

When was the last time you changed your shoes?
The shoes could be broken!

The brake hardware is probably be messed up, I would recomend new rear shoes and hardware kit.
