Anyone have tips besides using a baseball bat? Is there any good shops or people that due side work for this kind of job. I know Eastwood sells the right tool for it but its $300.
Thanks

tin snips, cut every few inches then bend the tabs up.
baseball bat is easier though

makes sense, its not as uniform a bend as using a bat

use a die grinder edge, reshape the edges with glass, finish with some Rage and paint to suit.....then beat the $h1t out of it with the bat..

theres a dude out in hayward that has the tool at this tire place called"Tyre treads" ask for Cort!

if your tire is being cut, i'd recommend adding some spring lifters, basically won't let the spring go all the way down and won't touch your tires anymore...if u cut the wheel well u'll probably get water coming in later or alot of rust.

Tony, don't cut them, don't get lifters, just get them rolled....

whatever u do try to avoid cutting, will cause serious problems in the future

I did that on my old car and it came out bad... just use the bat, I did on my new car and it worked great.
