I'm disapointed with my et a couple weeks ago. I ran better before the juice than with the juice. 13.9 @ 100mph before juice and 14.2 @ 106mph with it. I could not hook up for the life of me....so is there a way to determine by the mph what times I could have seen if I knew how to drive better?

Anyone have some cheapo slicks they want to get rid of [Frown] ?

Usually every .1 you take off your 60' will reduce your ET by .2

What were your 60's on each run?

don't have my old slip when I ran the 13.9 so I don't know the 60' on that but the 14.0,14.1,14.2 runs I had a 60' of 2.5, 2.4, 2.6 don't laugh TOO hard [Embarrassed]

It takes a very good driver to pull a sub 2.0 60' on street tires. The best drivers I know pull 1.6 to 1.8 on DR's and slicks.

So... it looks like your car is capable of a 13.0 run with a 2.0 60'.

Now the question is: Can you drive it to a low 13.

With a 106 trap, you COULD run a high 12. get some slicks.

J

ET's are all in the 60' numbers.

Get those down to 1.7-2.0 range and with that trap you should be in the 13.2-13.5 range easily.

Throw some real sticky tires on there at the track and watch the ET's fall.

Also what kinda activation are you using ie. WOT switch, Button, Window switch? and do you try to squeeze out of the hole?

how embarrasing...thanks for info though. guess I'm done with any power adders until I can put some of the current power to the pavement. [burnout]

trix:
It's wot when armed. At first I was waiting until 2500 rpms in 3rd then got pissed off and switched to 2500 rpms in 2nd. At that point I did start to see better times but by only a few tenths. I never used it out of the hole because I was already spinning the tires enough as it was. The car did feel pretty good and was chirping 4th gear

I have a set of 28x10.5 ET Drags. Right now they have about 6 burnouts on them. I will be going to the track 2 more times on them..then I'll get rid of them with time left on em for $100.00. Let me know.

You should get a high 12 with that MPH. Keep in mind that you might lose MPH with slicks. I used to run 104 MPH on street tires. Now I run 102MPH with slicks. I run 13.3-13.5 with low 1.8 60' times. You're making more power so you should run in the high 12 low 13 range.

106 is good for mid 12's...12.60-12.70
113 could squeak an 11
try an et calculator from any of the common sites...you need the weight of the car as well...not just a guess.
my old notch went 12.50's at 108...best mph was 109 i think
and always went 12.50's
i always spray out of the hole...but on street tires you need to coax it out a bit
