what rear end gears do you think i should go with sn95 conv i have a built 306 im thinking to add 75 100 shot oww i got a tremec 3650 i dont know 3.55 or 3.73 what do u think

FYI- it's a 3550 then. A 3650 will not bolt to a 302. [Wink]

realy i got the tremec from a wrecking yard it was stuck in 3rd rebuilt it i know u know ur shit john but i could have swore it was a 3650


there is no way a 3650 will fit? even if u change the bellhousing and ill check

A 3650 doesn't have a removable bellhousing...

Sure, it will fit...if you've got a modular engine or one hell of an adapter plate.

thanks my boy safi with the white cobra told me about u i think ima try to do it my self it learn but i just sent my 351w block to the machine shop and i wanted it done rite so i was wondering it u could put it in for me and the top end of the block but thats like 2 months thakx again

Not to piss in your cherios even more, but if you got the tranny from a junk yard, it more than likely isn't a 3550 either. 3550's didn't come in any Ford car. It's more than likely a T45. They're very similar, but a 3550 is built more stout.

i dunno but u be surprised what u can find at the junk yard the car i pulled it off was a 95 gt that looked like shit on the outside but under the hood there was an afr headed block with a vortec super charger msd full ignition i asked the guy how much for the btm box he said that it was the cars alarm lol 20 bucks and the tremec for 60 its was stuck in gear
