i put on some bbk shorty headers and the it took alot oof space and i think its my smog tube not very sure it has like 4 hoses connected to it. the the pipe that goes down has a smog hose to it connecting it to the exhaust i cant get the pipe to set straight allowing me not to connect the tube to the exhaust. how the hell can i fix this problem ?

exactly, just cut the end of the smog tube off. the ball joint part. put the rubber hose on it, get some small clamps like on the radiator hoses. easy stuff, takes about 15 min.
even if you do get it to connect without the using the rubber hose, it will most likely come apart. happened to me.
