I was wondering why my check engine light might come on when i press on only when i press on the gass pedal.

Also the Air Bag light comes on when I am driving not just when I press on the gas though. It flashes 4 times then 6 times I was just wondering if anyone knows where I could find out what this means or if any one knows please tell me.

If the "Check Engine" light comes on when you press the gas pedal, I would guess that it may be related to the EGR Valve or EVP (EGR Valve Position Sensor). The only way you'll know for sure is by purchasing a code scanner. You can pick one up at Auto Zone for less than $50. Money well-invested.

As for the airbag light, I am not sure. On other posts, people have mentioned the "clockspring" as a possible culprit for a flashing "Airbag" light.
