A girl at work needs to get her Explorer smogged. She has an SES light and will be failed. She can't really afford to go get a diagnostics at $80. Anyone willing to check a code so I can help her fix it?

We do it, but there is a good chance it will come back on right away if the problem is still there.

they have used ones locked up in the back. you pay $185 with your credit card to use it. Take it home, find the problem, fix it. Re-check it and/or clear the code and bring is back. They refund your card the full amount. So you don't really even rent it...you barrow it [patriot]

aamco transmissions will scan your codes for free, not sure if they'd clear the code for you though.
