How easy is it to change out a snapped wheel stud?

Does it need to be pressed back into the hub?

I think they had to press mine. a shop here in cam only charged me like 8 bux a stud or something. it was a lot cheaper then i thought it would be.

put a lugnut back on it and tighten it
