I have a alarm and the door locks are hooked up to that, and for the past two weeks or so on the passenger side the door lock button wasnt working to lock the door and now two days ago also i cant lock the driver nor the passenger side door locks with the power buttons any more. I have searched for a loose wire about three times , is thewre any other possible reason why the arent working anymore maybe the door lock actuators????

clean your switches, if i remember correctly, the drivers side switch gives power to both of the passenger switches.

its worth a try

I can't imagine both actuators going out so close together but stranger things have happend. As suggested above maybe the driver side switch is bad or dirty. I know when I had my driver sided panel of and disconnected the passenger side would not work without it.

Maybe your actuators are bad though since your using the power locks more than most people do because you have to use them to get in your car along with when you lock it.

you have to take the switches out, then carefully pry them out of the little plastic holder they reside in... then hit them up with some brake parts cleaner or somthing close to that. it may not look dirty, but it may just be dirty enough to not work. [patriot]
