Ok so i want to get a new intake and my budget is kinda tight so should i go with a cobra intake or save up for a little while and go with Edelbrock or some other bramd. Is there a big difference between the cobra and the others? Thanks.

Yes, Edelbrok Holley and others flow better thent he cobra. Depends on what you want to do and how fast you want to go. Cobra is a good intake for certain combos just depneds what you want man.

you won't resond to an intake change until you have done the head swap. i would save for the heads personally. but if you really want an intake,

look for someone selling an extrude honed cobra, and possibly polished.

you can pick them up for about $500 that way if you can find one.

if you bought it new and had all the work done it would cost you close to a grand.

and w/ the upper and lower both extrude honed, it will outflow ANYTHING.

i put a ported gt-40(real one) on a stock 5.0 once (it was a steal...couldn't pass it up)

it had 3.73's and shorties w/ flows and the car really didn't improve any ET at all or mph.

looked good, but no improvement.
