i do have a PI swap which does raise the compression....i was wonderin if there was a way to supercharge it?? and how much boost can i run?

i say 6-8 lbs.

I say spray it. Nitrous loves compression, and the power is only there when you want it, so you can hopefully keeo good gas mileage and not have to worry about heat since superchargers are preety tempermental when they get hot. Plus a nitrous kit is cheaper.
But if you want to supercharge it, i think it would be no problem to run 8psi as long as you have a good tune.

It is the sickest sound ever. I am planning a blower for the 347 in my 91 because of this car. That is why it has only 9.2:1 compression. [Whoo Whooooo!]

Unfortunately I sold that blower to finish the 347 in the 91. It was cog belt driven and produced 11lbs of boost at 2700rpm [burnout]

You can run the boost you want with a water/methonal injection system.

Get the blower [patriot]

And each pound of boost is ruffly 10hp. RUFFLY [Smile]
