Is it a fuel pump problem? The car cranks and all but doesnt seem to turn on. i checked the alarm, Dist. Ignition. coil etc.. when i turn the key on you dont hear the fuel pump. Could it be the problem?

Hook up a FP gauge and see what the rail pressure is while cranking.

If you are not hearing the pump cycle on when you key the car on than either the pump is bad or you are not getting power to the pump. You'll need to check for power going to the pump first. There's a harness in the trunk with a grommet going through the floor pan. I think the + pump lead is black with a pink stripe. Also check your fuel pump shut off switch located on the drivers side rear trunk area.

Check the Fuel pump Relay underneath the drivers seat. Try tapping it and see if the car starts. Try replacing that first, its only $15-30.
