okay so i took my car into the shop about a month ago....well lets say 3 weeks. guy puts the bassani back on but screws it up....dont like the way he did it..very sloppy. Im irritated as hell now.

So, what i wanna do is get a new setup from x/h pipe back...

What is a good x or h pipe to go with? and what is a good catback to get?? LMK guys. thanks.

I just saw an article in that new mustang mag. They tested several h and x pipes. The bassani and dr gas were some of the best. I wouldn't get an offroad pipe. They only give you about 1 more peak horsepower over like 6k, with a loss of low end torque. Also they have been having check points and towing cars with offroad pipes lately, + you will for sure have to swap it out for smog. They aren't worth it imho. If you get an x-pipe, they seem to work better with straight through mufflers.

damn 300 for an off road?

i want a catted one. is there any catted h-pipes besides stock that will pass smog?

Most places will pass you with an aftermarket catted H-pipe. They could hassle you if they wanted to, but I have never had a problem. You will definately pass the sniffer though. I think BBK and magnaflow both make catted h-pipes.

BBK does, magnaflow doesn't.
