I need some help installing a tach on a 2002 GT anybody want todo it for me ill pay you guys????anybody ever done one on the 99-up mustangs?

You need the tach adaptor since its a DIS

you actually dont neeed a tach adapter.i hooked mine up using the factory stereo wiring harness for the 12v,ground,light and i tapped into the originaltach lead on the back of the gauges

I think it took me about 15min to install mine with the tach adapter. Just follow the instructions its very easy to do.

heres what happened i had all the wires right but the the tach wasnt reading the rpms everything else was fine the light,ground the tach had power to it because you could set the shift point on it. th only think that could of gone wrong that i could think of is that one of the wires that i splicedin to was wrong??? thats why i wanted someone to do it for me.

I'll pm you Tuesday. One thing to check is to make sure all your splices are all the way thru the insulation.
