My car's battery died yesterday. Today i went to put a new battery in and my car mysteriously kranks as if was going to start when i connect the battery cables to the battery.
Has anyone had this problem?
Does anyone have a answer for this problem?

How do you know the battery died and not the alternator or other electric problems?

your starter might be engaged, you might need new one.

are you sure your starter relay that the batteries cables are connected to on the fender is all hooked up right? You may have the battery cable on the wrong side of the relay which would make the starter always spin.
either that or starter solenoid may be shorted
