I`m moving up to Sac in the next month or so and I need to have a heater core installed in my 89 LX. I found a guy in Vallejo who will do it for $185 parts and labor but by the time I`m ready to have it done, I`ll be in Sac. Can anyone recomend a shop or a person that is reasonable? Thanks.

At that price I would pay to have it put in. Does he do good work and what replacement parts is he using.

I don`t have the time to do it myself and I can`t afford the down time either.

I`m not sure what parts are used but I know the part comes with a 2yr warranty. He has a pretty good reputation around here but I don`t really want to drive down to Vallejo from Sac.

that is pretty cheap considering it normally costs at least 300.

I paid $200 and was glad to have it done right the first time. Buy the part yourself from Ford(like $50) and then have him do it for $135.
