well im thinking of purchasing either the 305 or 315/35/18 nitto dr on the rear.. my questions is this: how much do they help in the quarter? and would this size tire tuck in my fenderwheels, not running quad shocks? basically how much of an improvement do they give, thanks guys

i run my 315s with my quad shocks, you just need to flip them around. Mine i think have rubbed once when i took a turn a little fast and hit a pothole or something.
My Mustang is at stock height though so i don't know what will happen when i drop it. My dad didn't have any problems.

I would absolutely get them if I were in your situation. I have a lightning and there is little to no weight in the rear of my truck. Also, I put down 509tq to the wheels on the dyno, and at Sac Raceway on a very hot day I cut a 1.8 sixty foot and got my best time yet. If used correctly they are a invaluable peice of the drag racing puzzle! Just my .02 cents...

usually if used properly and with mm rear suspension package how much do you think this will cut down my times?

Yeah, I took my pressure down to about 17-20 psi and did a nice little smokey burnout. And they say for every tenth you take off in the sixty foot you take off 2 tenths in the quarter. So if your cutting crappy sixty foots right now they could really improve your time. I know I went from a 1.96 sixty foot and a 13.1 quarter mile to a 1.82 sixty and a 12.8 quarter with the Nitto DRs. And only getting better!

Even on my bald nitto tires, I got superb traction compared to normal street tires. They are a worthy investment.
