Here are the pics of the graphs from today... The first run (red line) was on the engine... The second run (Green line) the bottle pressure was at 1000psi and then FPSS was cutting the nitrous in and out at first, it was almost like a surge... The third run (Blue line) the bottle pressure was at 900 and this was the best run.... It was a lot smoother...
Run 1: 248.19HP 288.83TQ
Run 2: 336.78HP 449.43TQ
Run 3: 342.80HP 455.50TQ
The dyno guys said that my fuel pump was not keeping up with the Nitrous and that i need to get a better fuel pump and that i should put the next size up fuel jet in to be safe. The A/f worried me... 13.7 is not good...
After everything i would say i'm satisfied with the numbers but i would like the Nitrous HP numbers up a little bit...
I have the videos if someone wants to host them...
What does everyone else think??????

As I saw the graph as I scrolled down, I immediately was like...fpss is set too high. When I first hooked up my kit, did the same exact thing. Lowered it and was a whole new ballgame, graph was better and the surging stopped. Looks like you already took care of that. What jet(s)did you have in? Is your kit wet or dry/brand? These make a big difference in HP numbers.

I have the 52/33.... It's an NX Wet kit with the GenX-2 upgrade

It is not uncommon to run slightly lean when u first squeeze for an instant, but I'd like to see your AF richn' up to the normal range a little faster.

Ok, wet kit, Gen X. 52/33, that's a 100 shot. First, wet kits are WAY safer, good call there. Gen X kits typically run about 85-90 percent of their rated hp. So yours is dead on...about 90 hp gain for you. With n20, the biggest gain is your rwt numbers. You got like 150ft/lbs. Nice. As for your AF, You could try a bigger fuel pump, but that shouldn't matter because you're extra fuel is coming from the solonoid/port. You could try the 150 FUEL jet in conjunction with the 100 N2o jet and see what happens(on the dyno). That will richen it up. You MIGHT lose hp or 2, but it'll be safer. You might actually gain hp by getting a normal AF. Ya know,Seems yuo may have been runnin' a little lean even without the N20. That's where the problem may be. I'm thinkin' get a bigger fuel pump just to be safe and then throw the 150 jets and rock. Use good gas.

I wish I knew how to edit so I ddn't hav to keep taking up page space! I read that wrong. You have the same kit as me..NX wet, but with the upgrade. I was gonna tell you to get an NX kit..mine is awesome. NEVER have had a problem with it-2 years now. NX rates theirs at 98 percent. I've always gotten OVER the rating. You've got the best kit, these kits are designed to bolt right on, no questions asked. Get your car dyno'd again and see what happens, could be all sorts of things on their end not yours. You have a 01gt? You should be able to run 150 shot all day with NO upgrades. Bigger fuel pump couldn't hurt, but you shouldn't need it. Call NX directly, they have good tech support.

I would definitely upgrade your fuel pump to a SVT focus pump if you are currently running the stock one. I don't see how running a wet or dry kit matters when it comes to fuel pump requirements. I would also expect you to gain some decent hp/tq once you get your AF sorted out.

If you have a dry system, your extra fuel delivery comes directly from your FUEL SYSTEM so the size and condition of the fuel pump, injectors size, and having clean fuel lines/filters is paramount. You shoot 150 of n2o into your intake manifold and you've got tiny injectors or a inadequate fuel pump, clogged lines/filters, bad stuff is probably gonna happen. Lean is bad, right? Wet kits have 2 jets/2 noids, one for n2o and one for fuel-which on a 01gt is gonna be plumbed directly from the factory test port. The fuel solonoid is designed to vaccum out the exact omount of fuel from the port and aeresol it with the n2o to make a perfect AF ratio(based on jet sizes) BEFORE it enteres the manifold. The car's computer handles AF's, and with this "perfect" mixture coming in, the computer sees no need to change anything. That's why there's no need to uprade your fuel pump with a wet kit...although it couldn't hurt just to be safe. I never did on my 00gt, NX says ya don't, car ran great for 2 years w/150 shot. Sold it still puttin' out it's original ponies at the wheels. And thanx for showing me how to edit. Readers will be much happier.

The fuel comes directly from your fuel system for both. On a dry kit the extra fuel comes from the injectors and on a wet kit the fuel comes from the fuel solenoid. The fuel always comes from the fuel line which is feed by the fuel pump.
Both kits makes awesome power if setup correctly however the disadvantage of most wet kits is that they flow fuel through your intake(which was not designed to flow fuel). This causes puddling problems which can lead to backfires and blown intakes/TB's/MAF's. Another problem with wet kits that pull fuel from the rail/line is the lean spike when activated.

So what do you suggest i do? I woulndn't mind spending 85.00 dollars on a focus pump to be safer.... But how much would a custom tune help me, power wise and also A/F wise?
Also, how much am i looking to spend on a custom tune for the NA and the Nitrous tunes?

Hey buffMUSTANG, i just have a quick question. You have a NX kit, but in your sig it says you have NOS, which one do you have, NX or NOS?
But to help answer a question, if you get a switch chip so you can switch from n/a tune to n20 tune on your custome chip, you're probably lookin at about 5-600 bucks. Thats for the chip and tuning for both settings. I would upgrade fuel pump too, that way you dont lose fuel pressure in your system. NX is designed if you go below a certain fuel PSI it shuts off then turns back on after it reaches a good PSI. I had a fuel surging prob;em when i had NX on my 98 GT, added fuel with fuel jet, even had the tuner max out my injectors, turns out the fuel pump couldnt keep enough fuel pressure in my system, upgraded to a bigger pump, problem solved, then went with 150 jets!!

This is one of those times where ya gotta step up and eat crowe after tallkin' like ya know it all. Jeff S is right about your fuel pump situation. The test port is fed by the system just like he said. I stand corrected. Seee even us know it alls can still learn somethin!
