Just instaled solid uppers with solid spherical rear end bushings and the passanger side rear tire rubs. It rubs where the 93 gt rear ground effect wraps around and into the fender well. The driver side rear barley fits without rubbing. I assume the rear end it out of line if one side is closer to the rear than the other. Im runing a 15x8 rim with 275-60-15 dr should this be a problem on a 1993 gt because it is.
Any help would be good.
mabe just get a smaller tire like the 50's but i want to fix the problem not just sidestep it thanks.

Hmm that big of a tire would rub the fenders in any case. Not to mention the width of that tire exceeds the limit of your wheel width. The biggest I'd run on an 8" wheel is a 245 or 255 series tire with a profile of 40 or 45 series.

Running a 27"+ height tire on a GT does normally causes problems with rubbing on the ground effects. If you have a decent amount of clearance on the front side of the tire you can use adjustable lower control arms to center the tire in the wheel well.

There is no problem running the 275/60/15 DR's on an 8" rim. It's not the ideal width but it won't cause any problems.

whats the difference in size from a 275-60-15 to a 275-50-15??

its the tire wall height so the 60 are a taller tire than the 50s

What brand DR are you running? Most 275/60/15's are ~28" in height where the 275/50/15's are ~26" in height.

they are bfg 28" tall dragradials. If you have the new 5.0 feburary mag look on page 118. DO u know any information on cutting out the rear groundeffect to make room? Hes also runing a 28" tall tire but wider. It looks like he just cut out the problem area.
