I just saw this when i was getting ready to instal my pisons in the block!

Personally, I'd use a dremel tool on it. Break out the sanding rolls, and take every edge off that nick. It'll be fine after that. [Smile]

It is no big deal, use what the first guy said or just use some fine sand paper and sand it flat

I know it may be hard to tell from a picture but heres for what its worth. I dont think it is rising up anymore. Would it be safer to go a little deaper with the sanding or a little more even? can i hurt anything by taking a little more off?

If it was me I would prolly take a bit more off, either way I'd guess you were safe at this point.

what the??? should have used some real FINE sand paper and did it by hand.
