curious about what the hell is under my hood. its a '97 roush stage II 4.6 GT. now my question is weather or not all GT's come SOHC, and all Cobra's are DOHC, or if some regular GT's are SOHC and some are DOHC. how can i tell the difference? i'm a bit of an idiot, so all info will be appriciated.
thanks gents.

Its been a while since Ive seen a cobra motor
but if I remember right the easyest way to tell
if it is a "DOHC" motor is buy the spark plugs.
They should be located in the center of the
valve cover

Umm the DOHC motor the valve covers are wide, silver, and aluminum. The SOHC covers are narrow, and black plastic. And, no, there is no DOHC gt's. If he got a Roush its a SOHC.

You should be able to tell by size of the motor: the DOHC looks huge. You have a 4.6 SOHC.
